Regularly voted Britain’s favourite holiday destination, Cornwall is one of the sunniest places in the UK and has the country’s mildest climate. The landscape itself offers beautiful scenery, dramatic coastlines and spectacular gardens while the traditional fishing villages, historic houses and castles, museums, theatres, galleries and restaurants make for a vibrant Cornish culture. All this is complemented by excellent welcome centres, theme parks and holiday accommodation to help all visitors feel at home.
Walking, climbing, water sports and cycling are extremely popular in the county and are a big part of the local economy along with a whole feast of other outdoor pursuits for those not wanting to lie on the beach too long. We are very lucky to be based here in Marazion, which is one of the best places in the whole of the UK for Sailing, Stand Up Paddleboarding, Kitesurfing and windsurfing. We are also within 20 minutes of some of the best surfing beaches in Europe.
There are so many places to explore, from the moorland and countryside inland, to the cliffs, coves and sandy beaches of the longest stretch of continuous coastline in Britain. Whether you want to relax, escape, spend quality time or look for adventure, there is always something for you in ‘Kernow’.
